Hokkaido Oil and Gas Field

JAPEX has been producing crude oil and natural gas in the Yufutsu Oil and Gas Field in Tomakomai City, Hokkaido.

The natural gas produced in the Yufutsu Oil and Gas field is supplied through a pipeline network, together with liquefied natural gas (LNG) vaporized at the Yufutsu LNG Receiving Terminal. JAPEX also produces LNG from some of the natural gas produced in the Yufutsu Oil and Gas Field to adjust supply and demand.
